A lot of people don’t know this, but before the suits and financial charts, I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for over 15 years. I’ve worked in Kitchens lol , salons , lounges … shoot even from my A&T days some of you may remember me doing relaxers, roller sets, and beating faces in Barbee Hall and Riverwalk! lol

Doing makeup isn’t just about brushes and beauty,it’s about transformation. It’s about helping women feel seen, powerful, and UNAPOLOGETICALLY themselves. Whether I’m blending eyeshadow or building budgets, my mission has always been the same: to help women show up fully…inside and out.

Confidence isn’t just in the contour. It’s in knowing your worth, owning your story, and walking in your purpose, with your finances AND your face beat.

God gave me the gift to help women glow, and over the years I’ve just learned how to make that glow last, from the mirror to the money.

This is more than makeup. This is ministry.

Hardly home, but always reppin’!! Y’all know my love and pride for North Carolina A&T runs deep! 💙💛

Today, Had the absolute pleasure of reading Sit-In: How Four Friends Stood Up by Sitting Down by Andrea Davis Pinkney to the young bright minds at Harmony Science Academy in Grand Prairie, Texas!

This powerful book tells the story of four brave students (Ezell Blair Jr. , David Richmond, Franklin McCain, and Joseph McNeil) from North Carolina A&T State University who, on February 1, 1960, took a stand for justice by sitting down at the Woolworth lunch counter and helped spark the Civil Rights Movement . With unwavering courage and determination, they risked their safety to challenge injustice, igniting a movement that forever changed the course of American history.

It was an honor to share this history with the next generation and inspire them to use their voices and actions for change!

This past Saturday, the 💙💛 had the incredible honor representing North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University at the Collin County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s 2025 Teen Summit College Fair!

We had an absolute blast connecting with high school students of all classifications …sharing insights on the application process, student life, and academic excellence while reminiscing about our own journeys as proud Aggies. Of course, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to highlight that NCAT is the #1 HBCU in the nation and drop a few more gems about why Aggie Pride is unmatched!

A huge thank you to the Collin County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta for hosting such an impactful event. We can’t wait to do it again next year! 💙💛
