Hickory Creek Farm

Established in 1913, we are a North Carolina Century Family Farm providing Christmas trees, wreaths, garland and poinsettias for the Piedmont Triad area.

Hickory Creek Farm is a fourth generation NC Century farm established in 1913. In that time, we have grown all kinds of crops and livestock.
2015 marked a new page in the family farm album. We planted our first of many Christmas trees to be harvested in the years to come. Come out and choose a tree to cut down or pick a pre cut Fraser Fir tree from beautiful Ashe county in the NC mountains. We ma

ke homemade wreaths, garland and other Christmas accessories. Beautiful poinsettias grow in our greenhouse. You can sip on a nice cup of hot cider while you shop for trees or take a ride around the farm on a hay wagon. There are plenty of activities for the little ones including big hay bale art, playground, and a place to make reindeer candy for Santa's reindeer. Hickory Creek Farm is a Christmas Agritourism experience that we hope will become a tradition for you and your family!

A layer of snow on this coming seasons tree fields has us already thinking about this Christmas!

If you have been following our posts during the Christmas season, you might remember this beautiful tree that we affectionately named the “Hersheys Kiss”. It was 12’ tall and almost that wide. Probably the most beautiful big tree that was harvested this year.

I saved a small slice off the bottom to count the rings. They start off very tight from seed to first years. They get bigger and wider as the years pass. Eighteen rings represented eighteen years of love and hard work. Finally, in 2025, the perfect family found their perfect tree.

As the new year is approaching and Christmas is in the rear view mirror, I just want to thank you again for trusting us to help make your holiday experience special. We don’t take your support lightly. We are already looking to 2026 with excitement as we continue to grow your Christmas experience.

We will be closing for the season on Wednesday Dec 17th at 8pm.

We still have a selection of beautiful precut Fraser Fir as well as plantable Norway and Blue Spruce.

Free wreath or tabletop tree with your purchase of a precut tree.

The store is stocked with lots of goodies, stocking stuffers and decorations on sale!

Trees will still be available after Wednesday by appointment only. Please call before arriving at the farm.
