Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated female staff to join our team as residential staff. As a residential staff member, you will provide care and support to adult females with developmental disabilities, emotional and mild behavioral issues in a residential setting. Primary Duties:
- Mild to moderate assistance with ADLs, or Activities of Daily Living. ADLs are the tasks that people perform to stay healthy and alive. Some examples of ADLs include:
Toileting: The ability to use the toilet, clean oneself, and get to and from the toilet.
Continence: The ability to control one's bladder and bowel functions.
Ambulation: The ability to walk independently or with the help of assistive devices
Personal hygiene: Self-care tasks such as bathing, grooming, cutting nails, shaving, and dental hygiene.
Dressing: Helping choose the right outfit and the motor skills to physically dress oneself.
Feeding: Being able to feed oneself independently
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Provide emotional support and clinical interventions to redirect negative behavior of residents
- Monitor and record medication administration as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being of residents
- Follow all protocols and procedures related to resident care
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with individuals with developmental, emotional and behavioral disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic first aid is beneficial
- Experience in residential settings is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with residents and their families

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
