Hi I'm April McGuire, Owner/CEO of Second Freedom. This program is everything I wish I would have had growing up and not knowing how serious credit was. The lack of knowledge caused me to have bad credit early in life. Me not being educated on credit also caused me to be scammed by a Homeownership Program. This program was suppose to assist me in improving my credit to be able to finance my Lease to Purchase I had with my Landlord. Being scammed also meant not meeting the deadline of my agreement to be financed, therefore my Lease to Purchase Agreement was defaulted. I was devastated and also I had to move during COVID. I never want anyone to go through anything like this because of lack of knowledge about credit. This is why I started my first Business Second Chance Credit Solutions, LLC. In September of 2020 I created Second Chance Credit Solutions, LLC mainly Restoring Credit and working on building my second Business, Second Chance Academy. In September of 2021, after the lack of response from the Bureaus, layoffs, affordability issues with many of my clients due to COVID and seeing the decrease of sales, I wrote a new Vision and decided to focus on Financial & Business Consulting, Personal Financial Coaching, Credit Restoration and other Online Services because there was a need in the community to show clients how to be financially free. I worked as a Mortgage Specialist II on the Loan Administration/Credit Asset Decision Team for seven years. I became a Board-Certified Credit Consultant, Board Certified Credit Score Consultant, Certified Credit Repair Specialist, Certified in Compliance, Disputing and Credit Restoration Software. I realized through Credit counseling, there was a direct correlation with minority families not knowing how to manage their personal finance, which led them to use alternative ways to supplement their income and increasing their debt and damaging their credit. After this, I decided to focus on creating digital content, webinars, and workshops to assist families with education on managing their personal finances, credit restoration, and assisting clients with different resources. I honestly believe that creating a personal financial game plan will ensure that families become viable citizens and business owners that will nourish their community. Second Freedom is a life-changing, transformational company that teaches and equips clients to shift their mindset from a negative outlook to a positive outlook on their future goals. Second Freedom has expertise in a wide range of personal development areas and is targeting those that need help with mastering their personal finances. Second Freedom will offer this market the ability to exchange their current lifestyle and habits with proven strategies that will allow its clients the opportunity to transform their lives personally and financially. Second Freedom will assist its clients with boosting morale and creating a clear and precise roadmap to achieving their personal/professional goals. Second Freedom gets clients to outline their personal/professional goals in three different aspects: Educate, Rebuild and Elevate. In those three aspects, Second Freedom will get clients to align their personal/professional goals in retrospect with the needs of their home and future plans. Once the need is accessed, the client will create an action plan to achieve those goals. A Financial Game Plan is created to make sure goals are achieved. Second Freedom has decided to offer a wide variety of services according to its expertise and the need in the community. Second Freedom will house other businesses: Second Freedom Consulting & Services, Second Chance Credit Solutions, Second Chance Academy. All Businesses will all cater to the direct needs in the community. This creates sustainability and solid business infrastructure. Second Freedom Consulting & Services will provide Financial and Business Consulting, Online Services, Digital Products and Resources to Clients, Businesses and Non- Profit Organizations. Credit Restoration will be provided by Second Chance Credit Solutions and Financial Literacy and Education will be provided by Second Chance Academy.
