Today we announced completion of the first wing structure of the HondaJet Echelon test unit, marking a significant milestone in the aircraft's development and advancing the program toward mainline final assembly.

- Five total wing structures now in various stages of final assembly
- Mainline final assembly targeted to begin in early 2027
- Equipment qualification continues in support of safety of flight declaratione

The HondaJet Echelon will feature a larger cabin with increased passenger capacity compared to the current HA-420 and is designed to become the world's first single-pilot certified light jet capable of U.S. transcontinental range, bringing the award-winning design features of the HondaJet to a new segment of the aviation market.

Landing without Human Intervention 🛬

Once activated, Garmin Emergency Autoland determines the most suitable landing location and a path that avoids terrain, obstacles and significant weather.

Automated controls then manage systems to put the aircraft in the required landing configuration and communicate the emergency state of the aircraft.

Emergency Autoland will then execute the selected approach and perform the landing, braking and steering without human intervention.

The Elite II is the first production model twin-turbine very light business jet certified to equip Garmin Emergency Autoland.

If the pilot becomes incapacitated in-flight, the automated system transmits a distress signal to air traffic control and allows the aircraft to navigate to land at an airport.
