Congratulations to .wylie, Managing Director of , on his Wine Executive of the Year nomination from Wine Star Awards 2023. We are so grateful to work with Christian and his team at Bodega Garzon as they build and grow Garzón. His drive and passion is contagious!

Within less than a decade, Christian Wylie has expanded the market for Uruguay’s Bodega Garzón to 56 countries, taking production from 25,000 cases to more than 150,000 cases each year. Promoted to the post of managing director in 2016, Wylie has also managed to increase sales and production while lifting the winery into the ranks of the world’s leading luxury brands. Garzón’s flagship wine, Balasto, is the only wine from Uruguay sold via Le Place de Bordeaux negociants and one of just three from South America.

Congratulations to on his Winemaker of the Year nomination from Wine Star Awards 2023! We are fortunate to work with such an incredible winemaker and visionary for sustainable winemaking.

As the technical director of Grupo Avinea, owned by Alejandro Bulgheroni, Juan Pablo Murgia manages five wineries, focusing predominantly on , the largest producer of organic wines in Argentina, and Bodega Otronia in the Sarmiento appellation, which is considered home to the world’s southernmost vineyards. Murgia also launched a research project dubbed “Matriz Viva” to study mutually beneficial ecosystems for organisms that may be harmed by non-organic treatments.

On Tuesday, invited media and influencers to an intimate gathering for the launch of Giesen 0% Riesling hosted by .sips at Rockefeller Center in New York City.

Guests sampled the newest arrival to the Giesen 0% line-up along with the four other varietals now available. They also enjoyed the gorgeous city views with a trip to .

What an incredible evening sharing the joys of the season without the hangover the next day. ;)
