Legacy Sheep & Lamb We have been in the sheep and lamb business for over 35 years. Our lambs are all free from any hormones, all natural, and grass and hay fed.

Actually, Gail grew up on a family purebred sheep operation in Wisconsin, and Gary had to learn along the way. Together, we've worked to select the kind of sheep that produce the highest quality, tender, delicious succulent lamb that you can purchase. You have several options when purchasing lamb. You may purchase live lamb and choose your own processor, or we'd be happy to make arrangments to hav

e your lamb fully processed at a USDA Inspected facility, or you may purchase individual cuts. Our business is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. We are committed to meeting those needs and to have you as a "delighted" customer, and not merely satisfied. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. Reminder to all sheep producers that the Kansas Sheep Association will sponsor the annual Kansas Sheep Day on March 4 at Manhattan. Speakers will present various topics ranging from commercial ewe production, intense lamb production, grazing management for your flock, and more. Some naughty sheep. Part of the feeder got broke and they crawled through and decided this was the place to be for eating. Silly sheep.
After fixing the feeder, I decided to work at cleaning out the barn.

It has begun. Our first lambs to be born. Twins. A ewe lamb weighing in at 13 1/4 pounds and her brother at 9 3/4 pounds. A very good momma. Had them when it's still warm outside (66°). She lambed indide out of the wind. They were up and nursed. I just love it when baby lambs arrive.
