It’s Forklift Friday! Today we are proud to spotlight Paolo Zucchi, Vehicle Integration Leader. Paolo has been with Hyster-Yale for 21 years and is based out of our Masate, Italy location.
What do you do in your position?
"I manage new product introduction projects for warehouse trucks, following all phases of product development, from marketing requirements to the start of production. My role goes beyond project coordination, it’s about connecting teams, aligning priorities and ensuring that every part of the truck comes together as a coherent product."
What do you like most about HYMH?
"I have the opportunity to work with cross functional teams and bring new products from concept to reality. I appreciate the collaborative environment, where engineering, procurement, operations, and all other functions work together with a strong problem-solving mindset. Being involved in the full integration process ensuring that every system aligns perfectly and delivers value to the customer is both challenging and rewarding.
Professional advice for others?
"Stay curious, communicate clearly and always keep the big picture in mind. Collaboration and proactive problem solving make complex projects smoother and help the whole team succeed."
What's something you're proud of?
“Successfully leading complex projects through to final delivery. Keeping involved multiple functions, resolving critical issues, and keeping the project on track, especially under tight timelines, is what makes me most proud."
What inspires or drives you?
"The opportunity to bring truck programs to life and see the direct impact of my work on new product introduction. I’m driven by the challenge of coordinating cross functional teams and ensuring that every component comes together seamlessly. I enjoy working in a dynamic environment where every decision moves the product closer to launch. I’m also motivated by knowing that my planning and communication help keep the project on track."
