Yesterday, we took a moment to celebrate the incredible people who make Valley Cooperative Association what it is.

Our Employee Appreciation Day featured a pizza party with a fun twist — our managers stepped into the kitchen and prepared the pizzas themselves for the team. It was a simple way to say thank you and recognize the hard work, dedication, and commitment our employees bring every day.

At Valley Cooperative Association, we know our success is built by our people, and we’re grateful for everything they do. Thank you to our entire team for helping drive our company forward.

That’s a wrap on another great Valley Cooperative Association Food Show!

We had a blast turning up the heat with this year’s theme, “Tropic Like It’s Hot: Turning Up the Heat on Baking Innovation.” From discovering new products and trends to connecting with our customers, vendors, and industry partners, the day was packed with great ideas, great people, and plenty of inspiration.

And of course it is always a pleasure to see the talent the cake decorating competition put on by Wisconsin Bakers Association - WBA brings out 🤩

No one goes the extra mile like our drivers which is why we spent the past few months coming up with a new way to honor and recognize our million mile drivers!

Previously we had plaques on the wall in the driver break room. Now we have a full mural right in our warehouse for everyone to see.

Shout out to our Marketing Team for the planning and design work and to Eagle Graphics for bringing it to life!

And of course thank you to our drivers for delivering legendary service 👏

It was a beautiful day for golf yesterday and for a great cause too!

Our Director of Sales & Packaging, Michael Schwartz, along with one of our Grocery Account Managers, Dan Schonscheck, proudly represented Valley as a sponsor of this year's Campioni Charity Golf Outing.

This golf outing is a prominent annual food bank fundraiser organized by Pat's Foods. It is hosted at the Portage Lake Golf Course in Houghton, Michigan. The tournament serves as a highly anticipated summer tradition in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Sweet Relief: Wisconsin Bakers Helping Wisconsin Communities

When disaster strikes, those of us miles away often ask the same question: How can I help?

From August 28-30, 2026, bakeries across Wisconsin will unite for Sweet Relief, a statewide fundraising effort benefiting Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin's Appleton Campus and ongoing local disaster food relief efforts.

There are several ways your bakery can participate:

✅ Donate a percentage of weekend sales
✅ Feature a special "relief product"
✅ Set up a donation jar for customers
✅ Display a QR code donation flyer
✅ Make a direct donation

100% of the funds raised will be directed to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.
