Good Monday Morning Gang 🤗!

Providing another update on a few of the Spring 2026 improvements that Big Guy Home Solutions has been providing for my valued clients…

Recent jobs have included the assembly/building of a new Sam’s Club purchased Patio Structure for (Russ and Pam) that definitely had more pieces than I thought were possible 😬 for a kit that allegedly 🤪 is considered to be a DIY kit 🤗? It turned out beautifully!

Other projects have included my continued mission of replacing every trotted, sticking, non-functional entry door with modern maintenance free alternatives…and more “aging in place” solutions that make homes safer…and more accessible for handicapped clients…and their family members!

Hey Gang, no April Fools Day shenanigans here 🤗!

Big Guy Home Solutions has been busy handling lots of Spring projects for my clients over the past few weeks!

Projects have included the skirting of (Darcy’s) beautiful new garden gazebo, multiple deck re-surfacings, the first playing in the water 💦 session of 2026 with a whole house power-wash which concluded with the installation of new modern shutters for (Karen W.), and the replacement of old wooden doors for (Leslie) with new modern composite entry doors with built-in window shades that bring the outside IN 🤗.

Big Guy Home Solutions Project of the week epitomizes the concept of “out with the old, in with the new” 🤗.

This beautiful older country home’s covered porch floor had came to the end of its serviceable life, so new tongue and groove Douglas Fir boards were sourced from R.P. Lumber to give this quaint covered porch a new life that hopefully lasts another 100 years…

Hey Greenville peeps, since we are finally above zero degrees 🥶 outside…I’m considering 🧐 putting in Another day of “driveway and sidewalk snow ❄️ removal” with my snow blower here in town tomorrow (Tuesday 2/3)?

Note: this would ONLY be for “smooth concrete or asphalt surfaces”.

*** Last call for ❄️ driveway snow removal here in Greenville ?

I’ll be out for a while again today (Tuesday) clearing driveways/sidewalks here in Greenville.

I’m clearing the snow with a snowblower so the driveways/sidewalks need to be relatively smooth concrete or asphalt for removal to be most effective.
