Greenville MVPs of MVV: Recognizing Those Who Define ACES
As part of our Top Workplace celebration, ACES is proud to recognize individuals across each location who bring our values to life every day.
The MVPs of MVV (Mission, Vision, and Values) are selected through peer voting at each location, highlighting those who consistently demonstrate what it means to be part of ACES through their actions, attitude, and impact.
For our third spotlight, we recognize two individuals from Greenville who embody this standard. We are proud to recognize Gordon Beasley and Leon Clark as Greenville’s MVPs of MVV.
This recognition highlights two individuals who show up every day with dedication, pride, and a willingness to do what it takes to support their team and customers.
Gordon Beasley – Outside Sales / Account Management
Gordon Beasley’s path to ACES started with curiosity, persistence, and a willingness to step into an industry he knew very little about at the time. While attending a Georgia Southern University career fair, Gordon became interested in electrical wholesale simply because it was something new, and this interest led to his first opportunity in the industry.
From there, Gordon built experience across the Carolinas, first as a trainee and later as a project coordinator handling gear and lighting jobs in the Lowcountry. In 2021, he accepted an outside sales position with ACES in the Upstate market, a move he describes as one of the best decisions he has ever made. Since joining ACES, his role has continued to grow as he has built relationships, pursued new opportunities, and expanded into more strategic work with larger projects and long-term customer partnerships.
Gordon’s impact can be seen in the way he serves both his customers and the Greenville team. He brings positivity, and a relentless drive to keep moving forward, but much of his commitment happens behind the scenes. Through the time and effort he puts in after hours, following up with customers, supporting opportunities, and helping move projects across the finish line, Gordon has shown a level of dedication that does not always get publicly recognized. While Greenville’s success is the result of a full team effort, his commitment to ACES, his customers, and the relationships he continues to build throughout the Greenville market have played an important role in the branch’s continued growth.
Being recognized by his peers is something Gordon sees as an honor, but also something he shares with the team around him. As he put it, success takes an army, and he is proud to be part of the group helping Greenville continue to move the needle.
Leon Clark – Warehouse
Leon Clark’s path is built on decades of experience in logistics and warehousing. Before joining ACES, Leon had been working in logistics since 1993, beginning with his first opportunity at Oliver Trucking while attending Greenville Tech part time.
That experience provided a strong foundation in material movement, customer service, and the day-to-day responsibilities that keep operations running. When Leon was ready for an opportunity that better aligned with his experience, schedule, and desire for a strong team environment, ACES proved to be the right fit. In his words, he “hit the jackpot!”
Although he was new to the electrical distribution side of the business, Leon quickly adapted. Learning the parts and the nature of the industry took time, but his background in logistics helped him understand the flow of the business and the importance of staying organized, reliable, and ready to support the team. Today, Leon’s role touches many parts of the warehouse operation. His willingness to step into whatever is needed has made him a dependable part of the Greenville team.
Known for his responsibility, and ability to lead by example, Leon brings a competitive spirit that motivates those around him. His approach to work was shaped by watching his parents, who taught him that supporting your family and building a good life comes through hard work, dedication, and dependability. For Leon, being part of the Greenville team means a great deal. He takes pride in the people he works with, the respect they show one another, and the way the team operates like a family.
