Day 1, Lot 286- SSP (single sided porcelain) neon letter sign with metal channel bracket has excellent color and gloss. The sign features neon letters mounted on angle iron channel with an external transformer. The letters have excellent color and gloss with minor flakes at neon stands and minor discoloration along the edges. The transformer box is new and original angle iron has areas of reinforcement with new angle iron. The bracket height measures 32" and the letters measure 12 inches high. The sign has a great look and displays very well. 12" H x 96" W x 10" D.

Lot #1620 - Scarce Crank Case Service Free Refill With Marathon Motor Oil Single Sided Tin Sign w/ Wooden Frame

"SST (single sided tin) sign with the factory wooden frame has good color and shine. This is the only example of this sign that we have seen. The sign features classic Marathon colors with a detailed "Running Man" logo in the center field. The display has toning with crackled paint throughout. The paint is firmly affixed to the sign. The outer fields and perimeter have paint chips, areas of oxidation and minor edge bends. The original wooden frame is in very good condition with light age related wear. Overall an exceptional early Marathon sign with strong eye appeal. 35" H x 21.5" W. Condition: 7.9+"

Day 1, Lot 224- Reverse on glass sign with the factory metal can has good color. The glass face has small paint chips in the field with discoloration in the left fields. The perimeter has additional paint loss, which is primarily on the upper left corner. The metal can has been repainted and is in excellent condition. 10" H x 43.75" W x 5" D.

"Incredible SSP (single sided porcelain) factory neon sign with an added custom die cut SST (single sided tin) neon leaping lion has excellent color and gloss. The "Gilmore" sign is mounted on a metal can and features double-stroked neon lettering with an added white neon border. The display is exceptionally clean with minimal surface imperfections and color-matched chips in the "M" and minor areas at the neon mounting hardware. The perimeter has additional color-matched chips along the edges and the metal can is in excellent condition. The SST (single sided tin) die cut leaping lion features a vibrant, highly detailed painted surface with a neon perimeter. All in all an amazing Gilmore sign with eye-catching neon. 27.5" H x 114" W. Condition: 8.5+."

Day 1, Lot 132- DSP (double sided porcelain) embossed factory neon sign with the original metal can has good color and gloss. Side #1 has small chips with areas of discoloration in the lettering and outer fields. The lower "World's Finest Radios" lettering has been hand painted on the glass privilege panel. The reverse has less gloss with wash in the lettering. The bullnose ends are missing the plastic neon covers. Overall a unique Philco neon sign that displays very well. 31" H x 74" W x 12" D.
