I have been so blessed with the opportunity to work from home and provide a soft landing spot for my son and his many cousins (while their moms worked)for the last 10 years. I have had wonderful clients, quite a few who have done 3+ projects with me! And my clients have been so kind working around my childcare schedule.

But it's time for a change. I have been spread thin for a long time as a sole proprietar and for my own sanity and that of my immediate family I am stepping back from most of my design work. I still plan to do some e-design, paint consults and maybe gallery wall hanging, but the full design side of my business will be going away.

I have accepted a position with our family business .homes as an executive assistant among other jobs. I held a similar role 18 years ago which is how I met my husband. He is hoping I don't meet my second husband in this new position.

I completed some of my most favorite projects in the last 24 months, so it feels lovely to go out on a high note.

This project was almost 2 years in the making, but it was worth the wait. It was my second time working for this family, and it was again such a joy to bring more function to their 1950's home.

It went from an oversized dining room and dysfunctional kitchen to well appointed dining room with full coffee/wet bar and a dark walnut kitchen with additional built-in pantry space that should stand up to the wear and tear of an active family for many years to come.
