Help me celebrate a mama today! 🥹💗
She has been exclusively bottle-feeding for one month, with only a few attempts at the breast. And today? She latched right on and nursed for 30 minutes! 🙌🏼

So, if someone has told you that your baby “prefers the bottle,” especially if your baby is under a month old, I’m here to tell you: that isn’t necessarily true.

This mama hired me months before she had her baby so she was prepared and empowered! She started off with complications due to delivery and delayed milk supply, pumping with shared milk to supplement, but didn’t give up. Her supply is great, bottle feeding is going well, because she was proactive! She was referred by another one of my amazing mamas and when I met her months ago, she said I want to breastfeed! Whether it's by breast or bottle, it's important to me! So with education before baby was born and on going support after, she is doing beautifully! She kept up with pumping, and kept supporting her baby with the amazing support of her husband, and today they had this beautiful 30-minute latch. 🥹🤱🏼

Bottle-feeding for a season does not mean breastfeeding is off the table. Sometimes, you just need the right support. 💗
