What started as an idea between two best friend business owners became something we never could have imagined. ❤️
On Sunday, the very first Old Town Greenwood “I Do” Tour presented by Indy Wedding Collective brought together an incredible community of couples, families, vendors, venues, and supporters.
Together, we welcomed:
✨ 244 registered attendees with guesstimate of 174 total checkins
💍 60 amazing wedding professionals
🍸 4 Happy Hour partners
🏛️ 3 beautiful venues: Folktale Greenwood, Grafton Peek Social Hall, and Vue on Main alongside Sip Cocktails
🎁 38 prize giveaways valued at nearly $6,000 (plus countless additional vendor giveaways and exclusive offers... making it closer to $7k or $8k in giveaways!)
Our marketing campaign also generated more than 523,000 Meta ad impressions, along with billboards, Eventbrite ads, and prints in Center Grove Magazine, as well as two articles in the Daily Journal helped introduce thousands of people to Old Town Greenwood and the incredible small businesses that make this community so special.
But the numbers aren't what matter most.
We'll remember the conversations, the hugs, the laughter, the new friendships, the vendor collaborations, and the couples who found the people they'll trust with one of the biggest days of their lives.
To every attendee, vendor, venue, sponsor, volunteer, family member, and friend who believed in this brand-new event...

We've already been asked countless times if we'll do it again next year. The honest answer is... we're not sure yet. Creating an event like this takes months of planning, but based on the feedback we've already received, we're incredibly humbled by its success.
Whether this becomes an annual tradition or remains a one-time celebration, we're so grateful you were part of our very first event.
