October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

At Snow Queen Inc., we stand with women who are experiencing domestic violence, those who have survived it, and those rebuilding their lives after leaving.

Domestic violence is not always visible. It can include physical violence, threats, intimidation, financial control, isolation, emotional abuse, stalking, and other behaviors used to maintain power and control.

This month, we wear purple to raise awareness, honor survivors, remember lives lost, and remind women in our community that support is available.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For local housing, food, emergency assistance, and other community resources, call 211. For confidential domestic violence support, contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-SAFE (7233) or text START to 88788.

💚 September is Su***de Prevention Month 💚

Sometimes a person who appears to have everything under control is carrying more than anyone realizes.

This month, Snow Queen Inc. is reminding our community to make room for real conversations. Check in with the women in your life. Reach out to the veteran who has been quiet. Call the friend who is always there for everyone else. And when someone tells you they are struggling, take the time to listen.

You don’t have to have the perfect words. Sometimes being present, listening, and helping someone connect with support is enough to make a difference.

There is strength in reaching out. There is hope beyond a difficult moment. And no one should have to carry everything alone.

If you or someone you know needs immediate emotional support or is experiencing a crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Help Us Keep Her Housed

Right now, Snow Queen Inc. along with A Path for her are working to help four households in need of temporary housing assistance:

• 2 single women
• 1 woman with 1 child
• 1 woman with 2 children

These are women and families who need a little help getting through a difficult period and moving toward stable housing.

Through our housing-stability efforts, donations can help with approved temporary housing and other essential housing-related needs. Every contribution—large or small—helps us respond when a woman reaches out for help.

Snow Queen Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and charitable contribution acknowledgments are available for eligible donations.

Help her get housed. Help her stay housed. Help her move forward.
