Another great day of training with two outstanding partners — COSI and the National Veterans Memorial and Museum.

Our Safe Passage Consulting team had the opportunity to provide **Active Shooter Response and Mitigation training**, focused on helping staff understand how to recognize warning signs, respond effectively, and make informed decisions during a critical incident.

For us, this training is about more than procedures. It’s about building confidence, increasing situational awareness, and giving people the tools they need to protect themselves, their coworkers, and the people they serve.

We are grateful to COSI - Center of Science and Industry and the National Veterans Memorial Museum for trusting Safe Passage Consulting to be part of their ongoing commitment to the safety and security of their teams and visitors.

Another great day of training with our partners at Champion Properties!

At Safe Passage Consulting, we believe de-escalation training is about more than simply managing difficult conversations—it’s about giving people the confidence, skills, and awareness to recognize challenging situations early, respond appropriately, and get home safely.

We had the opportunity to work with Champion Properties’ property managers and support staff, helping them develop practical strategies for handling difficult interactions, reducing conflict, and maintaining safety in challenging situations.

The people who work directly with residents and the public are often the first to encounter a situation that could escalate. Equipping them with the right tools can make a significant difference.
