The short answer: sometimes — but it is not always the best long-term choice.
A roof overlay means installing a new layer of roofing over the existing roof instead of tearing the old roof off first. While it may cost a little less upfront, it can also hide problems underneath, add extra weight to your roof, and make future repairs more complicated and doesn't come with a warranty from the manufacturer.
A full roof replacement allows us to inspect the decking, address hidden damage, improve ventilation, and make sure your new roof is installed on a solid foundation. Along with a warranty from us AND the manufacturer.
At Axiom 360, we’ll always look at the condition of your current roof and help you understand whether an overlay or replacement makes the most sense for your home.
The cheapest option today is not always the best investment tomorrow.
