Julie doesn’t just make our wine – she and Ercilia are also building out the space where you’ll come to enjoy it. This week that meant a scissor lift, some ceiling panels, and a shop vac. Glamorous? Maybe not. Worth it? Absolutely.

Our current tasting room at 180 Hwy 1 is now closed and we’re heads-down getting the new space at 252 W. Grand Ave. ready for you.

We weren’t the only ones excited about the new space this week. 🦋

While we were working on the new tasting room, this little guy landed on Julie’s hand — hung out for a while, left, and came back. We like to think that’s a good sign.

This white butterfly represents transformation, a visit from a loved one, positive energy — whatever you believe in, we’re choosing to see it as a welcome. We can’t wait to open these doors, and apparently neither can our new friend.

The new tasting room isn’t the only thing in the works. Meet our first-ever Calabrese – a Sicilian varietal you might know through its cousin, Nero d’Avola. This week we checked the pH, sampled the aroma, and did a little barrel tasting (for research purposes, obviously) before topping up. 🍷

Deep ruby color, bright cherry aromas, medium-bodied with a fresh, lively acidity that stays balanced all the way through – this one won’t disappoint.

Bottling is just a couple months away. Keep your glass ready.
