Herman the Worm made an appearance! 🐛🎶

Participants sang along, identified different fruits, and helped Herman “grow” bigger and bigger using pop tubes each time he ate something new.

This playful activity encouraged participation, sequencing, choice-making, fine motor movement, and lots of laughter! 🍎🍐🍉

We took a musical trip on vacation this week! ☀️🏄‍♂️

Students joined in a songwriting activity inspired by “Surfin’ USA,” choosing vacation destinations, activities, and items to bring along for the adventure.

Through music, they practiced creative expression, decision-making, communication, and social connection.

Red, white, blue, and a little bit of music too! 🇺🇸🎶

This week, students explored Fourth of July-themed activities through the five senses. We also brought in some summer fun by making s’mores, encouraging sequencing, sensory exploration, fine motor skills, and social interaction.

Knock, knock! Who’s visiting today? 🌊🐠

In this ocean animal activity, participants used rhythm sticks to “knock” on numbered doors and reveal which sea animal was hiding behind each one.

This fun, interactive activity supported rhythm, number recognition, listening skills, turn-taking, anticipation, and engagement!

We wrapped up with a fun board game full of instruments, movement, tempo changes, turn-taking, and lots of laughter.
