There’s so much to notice once you really start looking at the details, from the ornate beading and rich patterns to the draping, feathers, pearls and silhouettes that nod to different moments in fashion and Middle Eastern design.

That mix of old and new is what makes Dana’s work so interesting to us. Nothing feels like a costume or a copy of the past. It feels like history being pulled forward and made completely her own.
