A more recent analysis by Local Falcon, reveals Family Dollar has permanently closed at least 350 stores between July 7, 2025 and May 12, 2026.

"The chain has shed roughly one storefront per day on average over the 309-day period," reveals the report.

Words of Wisdom Women Entrepreneurs:

Be watchful of satan’s devices in your business. Guard your heart as you are building your networking circle. Everyone that comes into your circle doesnot have your best interest at heart and should not be in your circle. Sometimes, the Most High separates your business for a greater purpose in his will.

Be wise; be watchful; be patient with your business growth and success. Don’t be ashamed when growth is slow and steady. Don’t get caught up in what people gage success as but evaluate, examine, & base your growth by biblical standards from the Word.

Proverbs 4:23: "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."

Keep your heart pure, honest, and cleansed from outside influences that come to contaminate and hinder your blessings. That brings in strife and malice, and stifling. In other words, guard your heart, cleanse your way, and release all disappointment, unforgiveness, malice, strife, envy, competition, and jealousy, bitterness, & resentment because these things hinder the flow of your entrepreneurial blessings and increase. They lead you on a path of stress, anxiety, sickness, confusion, and chaos.
