Guthrie Fire was dispatched to the 1300 block of N. Ash shortly after 6:15 this morning for a smoke investigation.

When crews arrived, they were met with heavy fire conditions, with fire already venting through the roof. Crews initially made an offensive attack but were later forced to evacuate the structure due to a roof collapse. There were no injuries to personnel on scene.

Guthrie Fire received automatic aid assistance from our partners at Oak Cliff and Crescent Fire. We also thank Guthrie PD, Logan County Emergency Management, and Dispatch for their assistance throughout the scene!

Green Shift responded to an ATV accident earlier this morning involving a male patient with a head injury. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was airlifted to a downtown trauma hospital for advanced care. Thank you to the Mediflight 5 crew for your quick response and assistance.

The Guthrie Fire Department is proud to announce the promotion of Lieutenant Andrew Collier.

Andrew has proudly served our department for the past nine years and also serves our community as a paramedic. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and a strong commitment to serving the citizens of Guthrie and Logan County.

Andrew will now serve as the Lieutenant on Blue Shift, where we are confident he will continue to lead by example and make a positive impact on both our department and the community. There is no doubt in our minds that he will excel in this new leadership role.

Congratulations on your well-earned promotion, Lieutenant Collier! We look forward to watching you succeed in this next chapter of your career.
