For teachers, coaches, supervisors, and event organizers, that creates a critical decision moment: knowing when to take action. Itโs about finding the right moment to help prevent without creating unnecessary disruptions to work, practices, and events.
Unfortunately, that moment is not always obvious. That's because heat risk is not just about the temperature on a weather app. It depends on the complex interplay between air temperature, humidity, wind, direct sunlight, cloud cover, exertion, exposure time, equipment, acclimation, and the people involved.
