We will be closed Saturday, September 5th through Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

Labor Day is a time to recognize and honor the hard work and contributions of American workers. We are grateful for our hardworking employees, as well as our customers and community who continue to support us throughout the year.

We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend!

The Iosco County Fair JML Livestock Auction is always a highlight of fair week. It's so much more than buying an animal—it's an opportunity to invest in hardworking young people who have dedicated countless hours to learning responsibility, perseverance, and stewardship. Watching the community rally around our youth at the auction was (and always is) incredible to witness!

This year, we were grateful to once again contribute to the Livestock Barn Fund, helping invest in the future of the fairgrounds and the generations of exhibitors still to come.

We were also honored to support two outstanding youth exhibitors who took the time to meet with us this spring, by purchasing their animals. We purchased Alivia Sheehans hog, and Kiley Kattermans feeder calf. Congratulations to both of you - your dedication and passion earlier this year made it easy to say "yes" at the auction!

Thank you to everyone who makes the Iosco County Fair possible—from the volunteers and families to the buyers and supporters. We're thankful to play a small part in encouraging the next generation of agriculture.

It's pretty special when local businesses can come together to invest in something bigger than themselves. The improvements to the livestock wash rack at the Iosco County Fairgrounds aren't just about buildings—they're about supporting the kids who work so hard year after year!

There’s something special about fair week.

Early mornings, late nights, countless hours of preparation, and so much anticipation all lead to this moment. Today is haul-in day, and for many exhibitors, the journey they've worked toward all year officially begins.

As you unload your animals and settle into the barns, take a moment to pause. Look around. Be grateful for the knowledge you've gained, the lessons you've learned, the friendships you've made, and the volunteers, leaders, parents, and mentors who have poured so much of their time into helping you succeed.

And if you see someone new, lend a hand. Answer a question. Offer encouragement. The future of agriculture depends on passing those skills and traditions to the next generation.

We're incredibly proud to support the Iosco County Fair and the hardworking youth who make it such a special week. We wish every exhibitor the very best of luck—but more than anything, we hope you enjoy every moment. These are the memories that last a lifetime. 💙
