This is exactly why technology should be utilized to supplement and improve the efficiency and thoroughness of weapons screening. Humans get tired and become less efficient over time and acute awareness diminishes and things are overlooked.

The U.S. Capitol Police on Thursday said a man who passed a security checkpoint with a handgun and toured the chamber was arrested and charged.
