Caden Chrisman: A Rising 2028 Quarterback to Watch

Temecula Valley quarterback Caden Chrisman is steadily building momentum as one of the more intriguing young signal callers in the 2028 class. Standing 6’1” and carrying a 3.8 GPA, Chrisman combines academic excellence with athletic versatility.

His sophomore campaign produced 1,279 total yards while showcasing a skill set that blends pocket toughness, accuracy, and dual-threat capability. With verified 4.62 speed, Chrisman has the athletic profile to stress defenses both inside and outside the pocket.

As he continues adding strength, refining his mechanics, and expanding his recruiting network, his trajectory points toward becoming a quarterback college programs will increasingly monitor over the next two years.

🚨 June 15 Changes Everything for the Class of 2028 🚨

For years, you’ve been putting in work when nobody was watching.

Early mornings.
Late nights.
Extra reps.
Camps.
Training.
Sacrifices.

Starting June 15, college coaches can officially begin reaching out to Class of 2028 athletes through calls, texts, DMs, and recruiting messages.

But here’s what every athlete needs to understand:

A phone call doesn’t make you.
And not getting one doesn’t break you.

Some athletes will hear from coaches on Day 1.

Others may hear from coaches months from now.

Both paths can lead to college opportunities.

The athletes who win the recruiting process are usually the ones who stay consistent, keep improving, and don’t let outside noise determine their confidence.

Keep building your game.
Keep taking care of your grades.
Keep becoming someone coaches want in their program.

Your story is still being written.

🚨 EAST TEXAS PLAYER TO WATCH 🚨

⚾️ Brody Guevara
🧤 Catcher
🎓 Class of 2029
📍 Spring Hill HS (TX)

Catchers with size, toughness, and offensive upside are always valuable—and Brody is building a strong foundation early.

⭐ CCS Rating: 7.5/10

✅ Physicality and strength project well as he matures
✅ Strong frame for his class
✅ Developing offensive potential
✅ Valuable catcher profile
✅ Competing in quality showcase environments

📊 Current LOP: D3 / NAIA / JUCO
🚀 Ceiling Projection: D2 with potential D1 upside

As he continues to develop defensively, improve his metrics, and produce against high-level competition, his stock will be one to monitor closely. I expect him to hit his Ceiling projection as his growth continues over the next few years.

👀 A name to know in the East Texas 2029 class.

🏆 The biggest mistake I see athletes and parents make?

They focus on exposure before they have a plan.

More camps.
More showcases.
More tournaments.
More emails.
More social media posts.

But no real recruiting strategy.

Every athlete’s journey is different. A softball player, football player, baseball player, volleyball player, basketball player, or soccer player all have different paths to the next level.

That’s why I don’t believe in cookie-cutter recruiting advice.

Before I can help an athlete maximize opportunities, I need to understand:

✅ Where they currently stand
✅ What level they realistically project at
✅ What strengths coaches are looking for
✅ What gaps need to be addressed
✅ What the next steps should be

The evaluation is simply the starting point.

The real value comes from the conversations, the strategy, and helping families navigate a recruiting landscape that gets more competitive every year.

My goal isn’t to tell athletes what they want to hear.

My goal is to help them make informed decisions and create a plan that gives them the best opportunity to reach their goals.

If you’re serious about your recruiting journey, let’s talk.

📩 DM “PLAN” and let’s discuss your next steps.

🏈 D2 vs FCS — What’s the REAL Difference?

A lot of athletes say, “I’m D1.” 👀

But recruiting isn’t about what level you want to play.

It’s about what level you’re ready to play.

FCS:
✅ Faster overall team speed
✅ More depth at every position
✅ More scholarship resources
✅ Many former FBS recruits

D2:
✅ High-level football
✅ Great opportunities
✅ More developmental rosters
✅ Can still lead to the NFL

Here’s the truth:

The gap between D2 and FCS is often smaller than the gap between starters and backups at the same school.

Stop chasing logos.

Start finding the level where you can compete, develop, and get on the field.

🏁 The best fit beats the biggest name.

🔥 PLAYER SPOTLIGHT 🔥

Jackson Newton
2027 Shooting Guard | London High School (TX)
6’2” | 180 lbs | 3.9 GPA

📈 STOCK RISING
Jackson Newton continues to establish himself as one of the more intriguing rising guards in Texas’ 2027 class. Coming off a 38-2 season, a State Semifinal appearance, and earning District Defensive MVP, Jackson has carried his momentum into the Adidas 3SSB Gold circuit.

Recent Live Period Production:
13 PPG
5 RPG
3 APG
Opened Adidas weekend with 17 points in a win
Jackson’s game is built around:
✔️ Defensive toughness
✔️ High basketball IQ
✔️ Team-first mentality
✔️ Rebounding from the guard spot
✔️ Winning culture impact

🎯 LOP (Level of Play) Projection
Current LOP:
⭐ D2 / High Academic D3 / Scholarship NAIA
Ceiling LOP:
⭐ High-Level D2 with D1 Upside Potential

The biggest separator in Jackson’s evaluation is that his game translates into winning basketball. Coaches consistently value guards who: defend, rebound, make smart decisions, compete every possession, and
elevate team culture.

His recent offensive growth during Adidas competition is beginning to raise his long-term ceiling significantly.

🧬 CLUTCH CULTURE RATING
⭐ 7.8 / 10

Tier:
📈 Rising Prospect

Why:
Jackson impacts games beyond scoring. Defensive effort, toughness, academics, and live-period production all point toward a guard whose recruitment trajectory is moving upward.
