πŸš’ Meet Ms. Nancy β€” Chandler Fire Department’s New Rosenbauer Tanker!

There’s a new lady reporting for duty in Chandler, Texas β€” and she came ready to work.

Chandler Fire Department has a tradition of giving their apparatus female names, and their newest addition, β€œMs. Nancy,” is officially joining the fleet. Built on a Freightliner 2-door chassis and equipped with a Rosenbauer aluminum body, this tanker brings a dependable combination of water-moving capability, durability, and proven components to the department.

πŸ”₯ Under the Hood: A Cummins L9 pushing 450 HP paired with an Allison 3000 EVS automatic transmission gives Ms. Nancy the power and reliability needed to move a tanker where it needs to go.

πŸ’§ Ready to Move Water: At the heart of the apparatus is a Hale DSD 1250 GPM pump, giving Chandler FD strong pumping capability when water supply becomes a critical part of the operation.

πŸ› οΈ Built for the Long Haul: An aluminum Rosenbauer body and aluminum panel construction help provide a durable, corrosion-resistant platform designed for years of service.

🚨 Visibility Where It Counts: Whelen warning lights complete the package, helping keep the apparatus visible while responding and operating on scene.

Ms. Nancy may have a little personality behind the name, but she’s all business when it’s time to go to work.

Congratulations to Chandler Fire Department on the newest addition to the family. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of bringing this apparatus to your department and wish Ms. Nancy and the entire Chandler crew many years of safe and dependable service.

Welcome to the fleet, Ms. Nancy! πŸš’πŸ’ͺ

WEST TEXAS TOUR πŸŒ΅πŸš’ | FINAL STOP: WOLFFORTH

Three stops. A whole lot of miles. And one amazing way to wrap up our West Texas Tour. Our final stop brought us to Wolfforth, where we got Wolfforth Fire & EMS 's Rosenbauer out of the station and in front of the camera for one last West Texas shoot.

There’s just something about seeing these trucks out in the communities they were built to serve. They’re more than specs on a sheet or a polished rig on delivery day β€” they become part of the department, part of the town, and ultimately, a tool firefighters depend on when it matters most.

From Potter County to Lubbock and finally Wolfforth, this trip gave us the opportunity to catch up with departments, put some incredible Rosenbauer Group apparatus in front of the lens, and see them right where they belong β€” in service.
A huge thank you to every department that gave us their time, showed us around, and let us capture their trucks along the way.

West Texas, you treated us well. Until next time. 🀝

WEST TEXAS TOUR πŸŒ΅πŸš’ | STOP #2: LUBBOCK Stop #2 on our West Texas Tour took us around Lubbock with Lubbock Fire Rescue β€” and this was one fun shoot.

We started at Texas Tech, grabbing a few shots of the truck in front of the iconic seal before heading over to Cook’s Garage, where the retro signs, vintage West Texas character, and killer backdrop made it the perfect place to let this rig shine. Huge thank you to the crew at Cook’s for welcoming us in and letting us take over the place for a little while. 🀘

But one of the coolest parts of the day wasn’t a location or a photo.
It was watching Lubbock react to the truck.

Driving through town, you could see heads turn, people stop to look, and genuine admiration for both the apparatus and the department behind it. There’s a lot of pride in Lubbock Fire Rescue here, and getting to experience a little bit of that firsthand made this stop even better.

A beautiful Rosenbauer Group rig, an incredible department, and a city that clearly has a lot of respect for both.

Lubbock, you were a blast. 🀠πŸ”₯

Rosenbauer From The Road πŸŒ΅πŸš’ | STOP #1: POTTER COUNTY

We kicked off our West Texas Tour with , where we had the chance to get this rig off the pavement and out into its natural habitat. Wide-open country, dirt roads, rough terrain β€” this is exactly the kind of environment where a truck has to be more than just good-looking sitting in the bay.

Getting it off-road gave us the opportunity to capture this apparatus where it belongs and see firsthand how a purpose-built fire truck comes together for the realities of serving West Texas.

These are the shots we love getting β€” a little dirt on the tires, West Texas stretching out behind it, and a rig ready to go wherever the call takes it. πŸ“ΈπŸ”₯
And this was only the beginning.

Next stop: Lubbock. 🌡➑️
