Possible hazardous weather conditions may delay shipments on Wednesday, February 2nd and the following days.

As a precaution, we recommend placing your orders as soon as possible to ship Tuesday 2/1.

Weather advisories for North Texas warn that a snow/sleet/ice event may occur overnight Wednesday, February 2nd into Thursday, February 3rd. If the weather actually does get rough (and we're in Texas, so who really knows), it is possible that both local deliveries and LTL freight may be canceled or delayed.

Dear Homebrewer,

As you know the past few years have been pretty crazy to say the least, and Texas Brewing Inc. has been experiencing a steady decline in homebrew sales the last 3 years. What you may not know is that Texas Brewing Inc. also has a division called TBI Pro Brew Supply that has rapidly grown over the past 5 years. We now serve breweries across most of the United States. We also have another division that sells directly to local homebrew stores called Homebrew Wholesale Supply. Today, Texas Brewing Inc. accounts for only about 5% of our overall business and is no longer sustainable in its current form. However we feel like we owe it to our homebrew brothers and sisters to still supply our customers who helped us get to where we are today. In order to remain viable and maintain an avenue for our homebrew customers to buy products, we are being forced to make some changes:
1. Our storefront will remain permanently closed. Local brewers will continue to be able to place orders via our website for Will Call Pickup like they have since the pandemic began, or enjoy our same day shipping via UPS Ground. Pickup hours will be Monday - Friday, 12:00PM - 5:00PM and there will no more Saturday pickups.
2. We will be reducing our inventory to carry only our wholesale lines of high quality products and hardware that help facilitate brewing at home. A few brands of malts and some unpopular hop and yeast varieties will be going away.
3. Due to labor shortages and rising costs we will no longer be doing custom recipes other than our kits. Individual malts will still be sold, but only in pound increments, milled or whole.
4. Due to shipping cost increases we must raise the threshold for free shipping to $55. The $7.95 Flat Rate Shipping program is being discontinued.

As we make this transition, we will be reducing our inventory of those items we will no longer be carrying and that means that you have the opportunity to save some money on those items! We are having an inventory reduction sale from now until all of those items are gone, so don't wait too long because supplies are limited!
