Father’s Day, June 21st, 3-6pm will kick off our Summer Sunday Season. Michael Skowronski will be our musical guest on Father’s Day. Father’s will be treated to a special day with an expanded bourbon menu, ci**rs (BYOC), and man’s best friend. A special Father’s Day menu to include Vineyard slow roasted Brisket, Vineyard 3/4 lb Meatballs & Brisket Cherry Bourbon Burnt Ends in addition to our regular food, wine, and summer cocktail menu!!

Open 3-6pm. Cigar & dog friendly, weather permitting. Please note that due to a past incident, dogs are not permitted on the covered patio, but well behaved puppies are welcome to enjoy the music on the lawn; ci**rs may be enjoyed on the lawn only.

Buffalo Zoo Wines in the Wild is Thursday!! While we are on the subject of animals, we visited a Buffalo Mozzarella manufacturer on the way to Sorrento!

The producer actually raises all of the Buffalo used to make the fresh mozzarella. These beautiful animals were treated very well because a happy buffalo makes better milk apparently. If you look in the background, there is even a rotating back massager.

The animals were mostly afraid of us, but this buffalo was more social and wanted to be friends. ….or wanted to get loose and stampede us😵‍💫🫣

Wines in the Wild Thursday, huge zoo event. We have prime real estate for our tent with free tastings of our award winning wines and some great deals on bottles. So please grab a ticket on the Zoo’s website. Ciao til Thursday!!

It’s Wednesday so let’s visit the ancient city of Pompeii. Did you know that a large part of the city has still not been excavated? The history that the volcanic ash preserved is incredible. When we visited the hall with the human remains preserved in exactly the position that they were in when the volcanic material covered them, some people were visibly emotional, especially at the sight of the woman and child.

Well, back in modern day, it’s Wednesday Pasta Night!! You know how it works, open 4-9pm, no reservations. Featuring new cocktails inspired by our Amalfi trip: Limoncello Spritz and the Vineyard original Amalfi Spritz.

Order food and drinks at the bar, pick up your drinks right away at the bar, we will bring the food to your table.

We now have a separate spot to order dessert & drinks when there is a dinner line.

Tuscany-Amalfi 2026: We are ALL officially home and can officially declare the trip finito!!

Thanks for sharing our favorite Italian spots, either in person or by following the trip virtually. Some of the trip travelers settled right into Italian life and as you can see, some struggled a bit.

Over the next week or so we will share more of the trip with you. To me, Italian life is charming for a while, but it’s always nice to get back to our American way of life:

1. American Coffee: just pour me a cup of coffee that’s more than 2 ounces and not so strong that your eyes roll around in your head.

2. Just give me a simple smash burger & crispy fries with Heinz ketchup and not some fancy burger from a special breed of white Chianina.

3. After all of that spectacular wine, just an ice cold can of vodka seltzer….hits the spot.

4. Just bring me the check after dinner and so I don’t have to track you down in the kitchen to pay the dinner bill!

5. It’s nice to get back to driving on roads that are actually paved with two lanes and that can accommodate two way traffic.

6. Don’t get me started on the bathrooms! I’m just glad I’m not a woman, but make sure you always have two euro in a pinch!!!

7. So why is the ground floor called zero and not the ground floor!

8. When I talk to you in Italian, don’t pretend you don’t understand me until I say it in English😵‍💫.
….. stop telling me that everything is impossible because you don’t want to do it.

There is nothing like paradise, even if they do have some cultural differences. It’s good be to home, but we are already planning more trips.
