Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, 10:00 until service time beginning at 11:00 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
Survivors include, Mother: Patricia Ridgeway (Dale), Siblings: Jeff Stidham (Lisa), Hope Feder and Faith Hollingsworth (Vess), Nephews: Levi Carter, Beau, Morrison, and MacArthur Feder, Nieces: Ashley Walker (Kevin), Hannah Vest (Alex) and Mia Hollingsworth, Great Nephews: Abram Walker, and Oliver Vest, Great Nieces: Finleigh Walker and Blakely Potts and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Maxine Vann age 82 of Hamilton, AL passed away Sunday, August 30, 2026 in North Mississippi Medical Center in Winfield, AL.

Born July 31, 1944 in Amory, MS she is the daughter of the late Orbie Millican and Lesker Pierce Millican. A former resident of Sulligent, AL where she worked as the high school secretary for many years. She was a member of Hamilton First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Jay Vann (Vickie) and a daughter, Missy Jarrett (Mark) all of Hamilton, AL. 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren with one joining in January.

She is preceded in death by husband, Jerry Vann, son, Todd Vann, sister, Dorothy Hathcock.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 2:00 at Hamilton First Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 12:00 until service time. Burial will be in Hamilton Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hamilton, AL.

Larry Carl McClain soon to be husband, father, brother, and friend passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2026 at Tupelo Mississippi. He was born on November 3,1961 in Garden City Michigan, he was the son of the late Rita Reener McClain and Delwood McClain.
Larry's life was filled with love, laughter, and a deep passion for his work and family. A highly skilled small engine mechanic, Larry was renowned for his expertise, holding an impressive 32 certifications in his field. His dedication to his craft led him to establish a successful career as a self-employed mechanic, where he was known as the best around. His talents and skills matched only by his warm heart and generous spirit.
Larrys personal life was a testament to his ability to love deep and live fully. He found his true partner in life when he met Crystal May Summers, the love of his life, with whom he joyfully shared his days. Larry was a devoted father to his soon to be step children Logan Randolph, Pete Randolph and Dawton Randolph, whom he cherished as his own. Together they created a family life filled with joy, laughter and countless happy memories.
An avid enthusiast of small engines Larry spent many happy hours working on them, often with his family by his side. His hobbies extended beyond his work, as he found great joy in spending quality time with with Crystal and his children. Larry'f love of life and his boundless compassion for others, including animals, were evident to all who knew him. His heart of gold and infectious zest for life left am indelible mark on everyone he met.
Larry is survived by his beloved fiancee, Crystal May Summer, his cherished soon to be stepchildren, Logan, Pete, Dawton Randolph, and his dear brothers Mike, Dan and Kerry McClain.
Larry Carl McClain's legacy of love, kindness and excellence will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed, yet forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.
