Today we had the privilege of hosting a farm tour with Grace Ravalli County Economic Development Authority, and the Montana Department of Agriculture along with other western states’ Department of Ag representatives. It was great to be able to give a hands on look at our farms unique offerings, as well as the unique challenges we face here in Montana- specifically weather related with the frosts this past spring.

We’re excited to welcome two new members of our team!

Dr. Megan Hager (left) is our new Plant Identification Diagnostician. Megan will be identifying the mystery plants you send to the Schutter Diagnostic Lab. Megan will also be providing management advice for w**ds and visual assessments of herbicide injury.

Erin Strickland (right) is the lab’s Program Assistant. Erin will be assisting our walk-in clients, organizing incoming samples, and answering calls. Erin will also be helping the diagnosticians to create educational materials and organize events.
