Many complaints submitted to Town Hall today about non stop barking dogs and loose dogs. Town Ordinance 326 states that dogs are not to continually bark causing a disturbance to your neighbors.

Dogs running after bicycles, kids or cars are prohibited. Dogs must be kept in YOUR yards.

We are asking EVERYONE to SLOW DOWN when driving through Town. There have been many reports of people speeding and bombing through stop signs. It’s only a matter of time before a kid is hit.

Just a reminder for all Water Customers:

The Hamilton Public Service Ordinance, Ordinance No. 359, provides that the water service shall be shut off 30 days after an account becomes delinquent. Per Resolution 23-03 An account is deemed delinquent if not paid within 30 days of the due date and a $20.00 late fee will be applied after 30 days. If delinquent letters are sent a $20.00 fee will be applied, per letter. If your water is shut off for nonpayment you will be charged $100 and another $100 to reconnect it during business hours. Payment arrangements for your past due bill can be made by coming into Town Hall and filling out the form. There is a $5 fee to set up payment arrangements. You will still need to make your regular monthly payment plus your past due payment, when making a payment arrangement. If you do not make the scheduled payment, your water may be turned off without notice, and payment arrangement will be Voided.

Please be advised that the buyout properties are now owned by the Town of Hamilton. If you are wanting something from the vacant homes you MUST call Town Hall to get on the list. Trespassers may be subject to prosecution due to liability for the Town.
