Dowler is a professional genealogist in Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio and a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from Cincinnati State with a Certificate in Paralegal Studies, a Certificate in Human Services, and an Associates of Art. He is currently working to completed his Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies from the College of Mount St. He began doing genealogical research in 2001 when h

e tried to prove that the rumors of his ancestry were more than rumors. During his quest, he fell in love with the thrill of the search and began to research the other branches of his family tree. He is a member of the National Genealogical Society, the Butler County Ohio Genealogical Society, and the Washington County Indiana Historical Society.
