There’s just something about transforming a space for a client that is so incredibly rewarding.

Why do we sort clothes by color?

Because it’s not just about making your closet look pretty.

When we organize clothes, we first group them by type: short sleeves, long sleeves, sweaters, pants, etc.

Then we sort each category by color.

Why?

✨ It makes your closet feel calmer. There’s something visually soothing about seeing things arranged in a consistent way.

👀 Makes it easier to find what you’re looking for. Need a short-sleeve black shirt? You know exactly where to look.

⏰ Saves you time. Instead of searching through every shirt, you’re looking in one specific section.

👕 Helps you see what you actually own. When similar items and colors are grouped together, duplicates become much easier to spot.

🛍️ Can help you shop smarter. Seeing five black short-sleeve shirts together might make you think twice about buying another one!

🎨 Makes getting dressed easier. You can quickly see your options and spot color combinations that work well together.

✨ And yes… it’s visually pleasing!

OWL IS HIRING! 🦉

I’m looking for someone who loves helping people, enjoys creating order out of chaos, and wants to be part of a team that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

This position is a great fit for someone who is:

✨ Available to work 24–32 hours per week
✨ Willing to travel up to one hour from Hammond, either independently or with me
✨ Trainable, dependable, and comfortable taking direction
✨ Able to work with a variety of personalities, homes, businesses, and project types
✨ Has a basic understanding of organization and genuinely enjoys it
✨ Has a heart for helping others and takes pride in doing a job well
✨ Comfortable with a job where no two days (or projects) are alike

A few important things to know:
This is an at-will position, and hours/work are not guaranteed. Flexibility and a willingness to jump in where needed are important.

You don’t have to know everything about organizing.

I can teach you the OWL way.

What matters most to me is your attitude, work ethic, willingness to learn, and desire to help people.

Why do we fold like this?

This is called a file fold, and it’s one of my favorite ways to fold T-shirts.

Why?

▫️You can see every shirt at a glance
▫️It makes better use of drawer space
▫️No digging through stacks to find what you want
▫️Less mess when you pull something out
▫️And you’re more likely to actually wear what you own when you can see it

The goal isn’t to make your drawers look pretty for a picture (all though it does!).

It’s to make getting dressed easier.

That’s what good organization should do!
