I have been a woman focused on a greater calling for nearly four decades, between building homes and community relationships. I am a native of Ponchatoula, who attended Ponchatoula High and then graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University as one of the top five students in the business management department. Some moments are worth looking back on, especially when the mission means so much.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're throwing it back to our time supporting Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center through their Gals Night Out initiative!

Being part of this experience was about more than an event. It was about sharing powerful stories, raising awareness, and supporting families facing some of life's hardest battles.

October reminds us that awareness goes beyond wearing pink. It's about showing up, starting conversations, and supporting those who need it most.
