Ross Kinchen is a lifelong resident of Livingston Parish, born and raised in Albany, Louisiana, where he has chosen to build his family, businesses, and career.
A 2016 graduate of Nicholls State University, Ross earned a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics with a minor in Business Administration. He became a Louisiana Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in 2019 and earned his Louisiana Real Estate Salesperson license in 2021.
In 2018, Ross founded what has grown into The Kinchen Group, a professional real estate services firm headquartered in his hometown of Albany. The company was recognized as Livingston Parish’s New Business of the Year in its first year and has since grown to a team of 12 employees. Over the past four years, Ross has led the company through significant expansion, doubling revenue year over year while growing its services across land surveying, real estate, property management, and notary services.
Ross’s commitment to leadership extends beyond his businesses. A recipient of the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce Future 5 Award, he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce, working alongside business and community leaders to support continued growth and opportunity throughout the parish.
In 2025, Ross and his wife expanded their entrepreneurial journey by opening Precious Prints Ultrasound Studio. Married in 2022, they are the proud parents of two daughters with a son on the way.
For Ross, Livingston Parish is more than where he does business, it is home. His decision to build his companies, raise his family, and serve his community in the same place where he grew up reflects his belief in investing in the people and places that helped shape him.
