HDC We’ve trained over 800 entrepreneurs! We’ve funded 100 to 150 companies! We own a 20,000 square feet theater building in downtown Hammond!

Our mission is to continue to foster the economic development of Hammond by working on building technology-based businesses, developing and promoting the visual arts and helping to develop minority, women, and Hammond-based business. We financially manage the Hammond Urban Enterprise Association and HDC Entertainment. We manage 100,000 square feet of downtown Hammond office space!

Our 2nd Annual Persons with Disabilities Halloween Party is coming up on October 31st from 5-7pm! This year we're adding the Hammond Indiana Police Department's own DJ Hacksaw! The Home Depot has already signed on to host a craft table!

Beyond the incredible musical performances, there's so much more to enjoy at Festival of the Lakes! From Persons with Disabilities Day and Senior Day to the Roadie Run 5K, Kid's Day at the Splash Pad, Fishing Derby, Polka Party, Car Show, and Golf Scramble, there's something for everyone!
