What’s the difference between a CPA and an Enrolled

An Enrolled Agent (EA) is federally licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury through the IRS. EAs are tax specialists with unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS in audits, collections, and appeals.

🚨 Before You Sign That Tax Return… STOP. 🚨

Your tax preparer should always review your return with you before filing. You should understand:

✔️ Your income
✔️ Your deductions
✔️ Your credits
✔️ Your refund or balance due

If they rush you to sign without explaining it?
If numbers seem “too good to be true”?
If they won’t answer your questions clearly?

That’s a red flag. 🚩
