In the "what not to say" column are common self-destructive phrases I hear my clients say to themselves. These are messages that are drilled in from an early age that make them feel like they are not good enough. By now we have realized that brains are more complex. Redirecting what we tell children and ourselves about how to problem solve makes a world of difference. Thanks IEP Focus for the fantastic chart!!
