We are officially sold out of kiln dried lumber! We will keep everyone updated as we move and get our shop back up and running. We can’t thank the Hampton Roads community enough for supporting us the last 5 years and hope some of you will still come visit us at our new place in Shawboro, NC when we are open again!

Our Peninsula customers don’t have to worry about where to find quality hardwoods though as we will be selling wholesale to another retailer in Newport News! We will share those details when they’re setup and ready to open as well.

As we prepare for our move, we are burning through our log pile and have a bunch of slab wood.

Right now we have cedar and cypress, free for the taking. You can probably cut some good wood out of them if you’re good with a bandsaw, or just have some nice smelling sawdust.

Happy Monday everyone!

A few weeks ago we turned this big Red Oak log into some 2” slabs for a customer in his backyard. Our Alaskan mill is perfect for situations like this. It would’ve taken some serious equipment to move this log, or just turned it into firewood and that would’ve been a waste.

We are able to saw logs up to 48” in diameter on the spot. So if you’ve got a log that’s too big to handle or in a hard to reach spot. Don’t let it go to waste. Let’s make something out of it!
