Another super fun show at The Great Wolf Lodge!!
It's amazing that we've been performing there for 10 years!
All of our newest dancers did a great job (especially for their first show with us). We hope they look forward to many more shows to come. Thank you to everyone that helped us out, from costuming (Nan, Amanda, Marsha, and Christy), taking pictures Amanda & Monte, to running our music, Monte, to helping us with the show Myra, to helping us with pretty much everything Christy & Marsha, and of course ALL of our amazing dancers. We couldn't do all of it without our 'ohana! We love you guys!

This weekend is our annual show at The Great Wolf Lodge's Labor Day Luau! Come check out this awesome water park. We will be performing Saturday Sept 2nd at 1pm.
Also keep an eye out for info on an upcoming workshop we will be teaching in Hampton at the Seven Cities Dance Studio!

Ohana Mau Loa is 10 years old!
We've had such a wonderful time performing and sharing our love of Polynesian dance. We have gone from just a few dancers to over 20 dancers and sometimes back down to a few again.
We've met so many wonderful people and had the privilege of dancing with amazing women (so many have moved and we miss them all dearly).
Here's to another 10 years of doing what we love to do! Thank you to everyone who has helped us and supported us over the years (especially husbands being patient during the years when we had 3 shows a week lol).

Ohana Mau Loa (Hampton Roads Hula) has been taking a bit of a break this year. With having babies, dancers moving, and lives getting away from us we decided it was a good time to take a breather.
However, we are back to practicing every week because we still will be performing at our annual Labor Day show at the Great Wolf Lodge September 3rd and even doing several new dances!!
We will then be continuing practices to get all ready for next year! We will be looking to grow our 'ohana so if you have any experience in this style of dance and want to perform with a group, send us a message! Or if you are interested in learning this style we will be having classes through Fall and Winter.
We hope to see you at the Great Wolf Lodge and we're super excited to be back next year performing all over Hampton Roads! Mahalo!
