I’ve said that 2026 will be a year of truth a year where I’m no longer concerned about people cutting me out of assignments, preaching opportunities, or teaching spaces because I speak truth that doesn’t align with “just be quiet” or “just get along It’s the church.”Those days are over for me.

This world is not conducive to silence, and it isn’t fair to people who are genuinely searching for truth. Yes, we understand conditioning and tradition but we can’t keep doing it the same way anymore. I’ve seen too many people outside what we call “the Church” grow bigger, better, and more impactful than those inside it. Meanwhile, the Church wants to model itself after and seek corporate level success and influence. Some not all.

If we’re going to operate in both spaces, then let’s tell the truth about both. Let’s be honest, open people’s minds, and allow them to think, believe, see clearly and then make informed decisions for themselves.

Our relationship with God is not corporate, nor is it built by community first. It is individual, personal, and intentional a sincere desire to be close to God. Community comes when like minded individuals who have cultivated their own relationship with God come together in worship, united by shared faith and purpose.

The Holy Spirit that lives within me I shall not disappoint .

The Truth!

Theology and religion are not the same. Theology is the lifelong pursuit of God as He reveals Himself through Scripture. Religion, however, creates systems many versions, many interpretations of the God theology proclaims. Theology reveals God; religion often reframes Him in man’s view point to appease and attract likeminded followers.

Religion produces traditions, structures, and expectations that burden people because they are conceived by men, sustained by men, and defended by men. Theology is not a burden it is truth. When you truly pursue God, the struggle is never external. It is internal. It is the refining place where God confronts the heart, the will, and the obedience of the individual. That wrestling belongs to you and God alone.

Religion, on the other hand, entangles you with human power. With attitudes, hierarchies, platforms, popularity, titles, branding, and names God never sanctioned. They sound holy. They look impressive. But God did not ordain them. Religion teaches you how to survive systems; theology teaches you how to stand before God and speak; Thus said the Lord to those systems!

And when you confront religion when you challenge its idols, its gatekeepers, and its illusions you do not walk away unscathed. Careers are threatened. Platforms are stripped. Doors are closed. You are left learning how to stand without applause, without affirmation, without the approval of men.

Yet in this hour, something is shifting.

God is raising voices brothers who are speaking faith to power, truth to systems, and obedience over popularity. They are disrupting old dynamics, and many do not know what to do with them. Confusion is rising because people are being forced to choose: follow God or follow structure; pursue truth or protect position; obey the Spirit or submit to tradition.

This is not a season of comfort. It is a season of clarity.
And those with ears to hear will know exactly what time it is. Hurst

We’re going to have President Trump in office for the next three years and two months that’s for certain. Nothing is going to change that right now. You can march in the streets, you can protest, you can raise your voice, but the reality remains. God isn’t going to change it, too many people voted for him, and many of those same people say they fear God just like you and me. The real question is whose voice is God listening to?
What I encourage you to do during this time is focus on building yourself up. Strengthen your education, grow your business, ( not easy but you got to try) sharpen your intellect, and expand your insight. Position yourself to achieve more, even in the midst of uncertainty. Be intentional plan, plot, and move strategically. Go to church, worship God, give Him Glory and Praise! But on Monday morning, get up, go to work, and handle your responsibilities. Do what you must to improve yourself and provide for your family.
While doing that, stay strategic plan your vote, build your community, and support those who need help. We don’t know for sure whats ahead of us, so don’t stress yourself into despair. Learn how to cope with the reality we face and trust God. Let this be your wake-up call to become better, do better, and grow stronger.

When the doors open, be ready to walk through them. And if they’re not open yet, use this time to prepare build yourself up, uplift others, and expand who you are. Keep growing, keep moving, and keep believing. God is still God in the storms!
