Grumpmuffin

Grumpmuffin “From now on, we would prefer the term Grumpmuffin. We were born trolls, but that name limited us and we are so much more than a label ever conveys.

Every species has a heart, some simply beat grander than others. We wanted ours to be among the loudest." “That which we were meant to be, we are. Yes, we would prefer to be called Grumpmuffins now. Though we were born trolls, that caste, or classification, limits us in the minds of others. We are so much more than a mere title. Truth is, we'd rather be known by our actions, not those of a race, species, or persuasion.

"We show that dragonfly species that have evolved dark breeding coloration on their wings have also evolved the ability to tolerate high temperatures," said Dr. Noah Leith, a biologist at the University of Pittsburgh. "This finding paves the way for a whole new field of research exploring interactions between thermal traits and sexual signals." ~ From the article.

Evolution happens over just a few months.

Temperature determines where species can live and if they are threatened by a warming climate. So, for a long time, biologists studied how heat tolerance affects survival. Yet, less is known about how thermal traits influence reproduction, which is directly linked to extinction risk.

I wish I could tell you how much you meant to me. I can honestly say, that trying to find a way, is teaching me to believe again. I like walking in love and kindness. It has been a long time and it feels really good.

I had the strangest thing happen a few nights ago. I opened the door into a forty-year-old room and walked back in time and space to Ruby and Cugh's in Adamsville in 1975. I stepped right through that sucker without a moment's hesitation.

"In the famous double-slit experiment, an interference pattern consisting of dark and bright bands emerges when a beam of light hits two narrow slits. The same effect has also been seen with particles such as electrons and protons, demonstrating the wave nature of propagating particles in quantum mechanics. Typically, experiments of this type produce interference patterns at the nanometre scale. In a recent study, the ALICE collaboration measured a similar interference pattern at the femtometre scale using ultra-peripheral collisions between lead nuclei at the LHC." ~ From the article.

Do yourself a favor and look up the Double-Slit experiment. It proves a strange theory about light. Not everything is as it seems.

The ALICE collaboration has measured an interference pattern at the femtometre scale using ultra-peripheral collisions between lead nuclei at the LHC.

"With autoimmune disease, you look for certain things," she explains on this episode of the mindbodygreen podcast. "You look for genetic predisposition. You look for increased intestinal permeability, or leaky gut. And then you look for a trigger…and what folks often don't understand is that those triggers can often be emotional or spiritual."

"First things first, let's discuss the research. Gottfried references the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study2, conducted in 1998 by the CDC and health care company Kaiser Permanente, which found a direct link between childhood trauma and chronic diseases as an adult." ~ From the article.

"...found a direct link between childhood trauma and chronic diseases as an adult." Imagine that.

The links are all in the article.

It's time to consider this giant factor.

"Race-related stressors, including racial discrimination, affect the rate at which people age on a biological level. These experiences activate the stress response system and have been linked to greater activity in brain regions that process incoming threats. However, until now, researchers in our field have not understood how brain changes linked to racism contribute to accelerated aging." ~ From the article.

“Not until your whole generation has laid down and died, will the weight of you, be off of our backs.” ~ 'Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?'

A new study reveals that racism accelerates biological aging in Black women by altering brain networks linked to stress and rumination, highlighting the profound impact of racial discrimination on mental and physical health at the cellular level.
