YOU LOVE YOURS KIDS! THIS IS CRITICAL!

Today's threats to our kid's are unique, dangerous, and they are everywhere! No one, or place, is immune. Of the many threats, the most dangerous is that of drugs and drug addiction. The Blue-U Defense YouTube channel will give you what you need as a parent to teach your kids how to be secure rather than trying to keep them secure - which is typically a failed effort. The biggest obstacle to keeping kids secure at school will surprise you...

It's parents! Either hiding their kids from the realities of violence and/or projecting their fears and tainted world-views onto their kids.

I was recently in a classroom full of teachers talking about acts-of-violence and the realities of them. At one point I noted one of them was crying. So...I stopped and asked her why> She explained that it was horrible and scary that we had to be discussing this topic with them, and worse, with kids. This is how I answered her concern:

I explained that we have taught 1000's of kids, from pre-k up to university aged and not one single time, ever, has a kid ever cried. This means that her fears were her fears alone and that they are likely not there with our kids unless parents project them onto their kids. This is not in any way fair to our kids who deserve and have a right to know how to prevent, and survive incidents of violence when prevention efforts fail - at any age.

Second, parents hide their kids from the realities of acts-of-violence and then a bad guy comes into their school with a purpose to hurt or kill and what happens? Victim counts pile up! And there is outrage and an outcry to resolve this threat from the very people who chose to hide their kids from reality.

Its time for change. It's time for Blue-U!
