And to promote the hobby as good as I can, by teaching how to use Metal Detectors in the real world. I just got back from my first trip to detect in England for 2026
I had a great time with friends, the weather was pretty nice, I had a great time. But lots of work detecting 12 hrs everyday rain or shine.
I didn't do the greatest but average and I am happy with it. The group i was in got three golds one coin , gold pendant, and gold ring.
Mornings were cool around 35 but days were in low 60s.
One day I dug like 4 targes in a row that were about 14 inches deep like the broken part of a bronze axe. And the pendant with the cross on it.
