This past Friday, we celebrated the 27-year career of an incredible man, Jimmy Allison. He started at Independent's in 1999, where he was hired to be a trimmer/screen printer. He went on to work in welding, then back to being a trimmer. When asked about what he would say to encapsulate his time with us, he stated, “He enjoyed it. It’s a great place to work – great people, great family-owned business.” We then asked him if he had any words of wisdom before he left, and he said, “If you work here, stay here.”

We want to thank you, Jimmy, for your hard work, dedication, and all the memories you’ve shared with our team over the years. Wishing you nothing but happiness, relaxation, and exciting new adventures in retirement. You will truly be missed. We will see you around and appreciate your willingness to come back as a helping hand if ever needed.

We are growing our top rated customer service team. Our Customer Service Representatives are responsible for receiving and entering customer orders. Duties include heavy e-mail and phone call communication with our customers around the US, and working with our internal software and people to schedule and fulfill orders. The ability to work with detailed customer spreadsheets and quickly gather crucial information is needed. Working with measurements, dimensions, and basic mathematical operations are a daily part of this role. Strong organization skills & meticulous attention to details are needed to thrive in this role. Good verbal, writing and spelling skills, and excellent telephone & email manners are required.

You will be working closely with others in a fast paced and deadline driven office environment with one of the best customer service teams in the printing industry. Some overtime is required during busy seasonal times of the year.
