The core philosophy behind Mind, Body, and Craft is that on the path of mastery, we have the ability to train three primary things: our mind, our body, and our craft. In order to achieve the highest levels of personal and professional fulfillment, success and mastery, we must learn the practical tools, skills and behaviors for training these three key elements of our lives. Each of these areas, wh

ile it can be trained specifically, does not operate in isolation from the others. I work with individuals, teams, and organizations to help them learn and apply the specific tools they need in order to realize new levels of growth and success.

Mastery of anything is a path, not a destination. It is a way of doing things.

You don't "become" a master, you practice mastery. The little things, repeated daily, for years upon years.

If you don't fall in love with journey, the destination won't matter.

"To live only for some future goal is shallow. It’s the sides of the mountain which sustain life, not the top. Here’s where things grow."

One of the biggest lies of the current day is that all discomfort is bad.

Growth necessitates discomfort.

Getting physically fit hurts at times. Becoming emotionally intelligent is often incredibly uncomfortable. Deepening your intelligence is always challenging.

Don't assume that your discomfort is a sign that things aren't going well. Assume the discomfort is a necessary part of your growth, because it is.

"Discomfort is the price of admission to a meaningful life." - Susan David

"Everybody wants to be great until it comes to doing what greatness requires." - Joshua Medcalf

There are lots of ways to help manage your stress from mindfulness, to healthy eating, to exercising, to finding moments of simple rest.

One other thing that I’ve found helpful is Lifeplus’s Anti-Stress Formula. It’s not meant to be a cure all, but it’s definitely helped me when I’ve needed it.

After 3 years, my time at York Precision ca to an end today. It’s been a lot of learning and growing, but an opportunity that I am extremely grateful to have had.
After a short break, and a family trip to Montana for my brother-in-law’s wedding, I’m excited to move on to the next stage of my journey.
I am especially excited to be heading back to Flowserve Corporation, joining the Valve Division (FCD) in the role of Segment Manager - Diversification. I’m looking forward to working with a lot of new folks and hopefully seeing some familiar faces along the way.
