🐜 Seeing tiny ant trails in the kitchen this time of year? You’re not imagining it.

As nights cool and fall rain soaks the yard, odorous house ants head indoors looking for warmth, water and sweets. Store-bought sprays often scatter the colony into new nests instead of stopping it. We target the whole colony, queens included, before winter settles in.

✅ Thorough inspection to find trails and nests
✅ Colony-focused baiting that reaches the queens
✅ Practical sealing tips to keep ants out

Ready for a quieter kitchen? Reach out and let’s schedule your inspection.

🪵 Most homeowners assume termite season ends with the first cool nights of October. The entomology says otherwise — and so do our fall inspection reports.

Subterranean termite workers keep feeding right through October and well into November. Only when deep-soil temperatures drop into the mid-thirties do the main colony chambers retreat below frost line, which can be forty inches down or more. The gallery stays intact. The damage done to your home stays done.

✅ The ectothermic mechanism that keeps workers active through fall
✅ Five warning signs — mud tubes, hollow framing, blistered trim, discarded wings, and the frass misdiagnosis
✅ Why fall is the single best treatment window — before the colony drops below frost line for winter
✅ Two primary treatment approaches and how we choose between them

Read our full fall guide and reach out at the first sign of mud tubes or hollow wood.
