Commercial Interiors was back on the golf course, this time for a great cause!

The team joined the Louisa County Chamber of Commerce (LCCC) for the Louisa Forward Challenge at Cutalong at Tributer Resort. The tournament supports the Bright Futures Scholarship and other programs promoting business vitality, workforce development, leadership, and community impact.

A special thank you to LCCC Executive Director Tracy Hale Clark for the invitation and thanks to everyone who made the event possible. We were proud to be part of a great day supporting the Louisa community!

It doesn’t take much to convince the Commercial Interiors team to hit the golf course.

We do not need a big occasion to bring the team together for some fun. The team recently spent a weekend at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Manassas, Virginia, enjoying some friendly competition and time together away from work.

Communities around the world have been shaped by builders, craftsmen, and innovators. On Indigenous Peoples' Day, we recognize the generations of Indigenous peoples whose ingenuity, craftsmanship, and connection helped shape communities across North America. From the ancient Mesa Verde cliff dwellings and Taos Pueblo to modern buildings that incorporate Indigenous design elements and cultural traditions, Indigenous ingenuity continues to shape the Americas.

The Commercial Utilities team is hard at work on a major electrical duct bank corridor reconstruction project at the intersection of Lombard and Charles Streets in the heart of downtown Baltimore. Much of the city's underground utility infrastructure was constructed 100+ years ago using materials that are now outdated and well beyond their service life. By modernizing the duct bank with heat resistant, epoxy, fiberglass conduits, our team is building in the protection and reliability of critical underground utility networks today while ensuring the long term viability of Baltimore's electric grid infrastructure well into the future.

We are proud to serve the Baltimore community, a place many of us at Commercial proudly call home.

Commercial Construction has reached the summit at The Cassidy, celebrating this achievement with a topping out ceremony as the work moves indoors.

As a way to show appreciation to all our partners, we hosted a lunch with a live mariachi band and raffled off various prizes, including new tools, headlamps, and two flat-screen televisions!

The Cassidy in Prince George's County is a 175-unit affordable housing project being led by our award-winning multifamily team. The development is designed to seamlessly blend a sustainable, walkable, and vibrant neighborhood into the surrounding community.

This past Friday was National Concussion Awareness Day, a reminder of the importance of protection from head injuries both on and off the job. While often associated with sports, concussions can occur anywhere, including on construction sites, making awareness, prevention, and proper protection essential across our industry.

Every concussion is serious, and the effects can be cumulative. That's why education, awareness, and safety measures play such an important role in protecting workers and their long-term health.

At Commercial Utilities, safety starts with preparation and the right equipment. That's why our crews wear KASK Zenith X2 helmets, featuring advanced impact protection technology designed for demanding work environments.

By investing in innovative safety equipment, we're helping protect our most valuable asset: our people.

The Commercial team came together to express our creativity with a paint & sip event on Friday. It was a fun way to unwind at the end of the week and connect as a team. Everyone painted colorful sailboats on mini canvases while learning the basics of color theory. It was a great afternoon of creativity, camaraderie, and fun!
